Candidate FAQs
 Can I search the database without being registered?
A Yes you can but it will only bring up very brief details of the job. To see the full details and to be able to apply for the job you will need to register your details and complete the CV template.
Why do I need to register?
A When you register, your details are saved for you to use when you apply for a job that you find on jobs4mining.
How can I receive jobs by e-mail?
A When you register you will be asked how you wish your CV to be sent to clients. Select the category that suits you and you will be notified of all the jobs that match your requirements.
What happens if I need to ask some more questions?
A The Jobs4mining team is here to provide all the assistance you need. Please contact us and we will gladly answer any questions you may have.
How can I update my CV?
A When you have entered your CV on the Jobs4Me page, your details are saved and should you wish to add a new CV or change the details on your old CV just hit the edit button and you will be able to change any of the sections you have completed.
How long will my CV remain active?
A Currently, your CV is active indefinitely. You, however, are in control of that, you can make your CV ‘PRIVATE’ and then no client will have access to it. You will also be reminded quarterly to update your CV and any other information that may be relevant. We would advise you to keep your CV up to date this will ensure that the search engine has the best possible chance of matching you to the jobs that are posted on the site.
Once I have found the right job, how can I stop receiving jobs by e-mail?
A This is in your control, you can switch this service on or off from your Jobs4Me page. Once you have found a job you should mark your CV private. This will have one of two effects; the first to blind your CV from everyone and all jobs by e-mail.
The second; to blind your CV from all but still allow you to receive jobs by e-mail. The chose is yours.
CV confidentiality, how is this handled?
A The degree of confidentiality is up to you, you will control the level that suits you. On the one extreme the database can send your details to all suitable jobs, at the other extreme you will be notified of a suitable job and it is up to you to apply. The choice is yours.
Are we Government funded?
A We are a private company, but we work with many government organisations.
How much will it cost me the candidate?
A The service is free to you, there is no charge however much you use the site or restriction on the number of jobs you can apply for.
Are Jobs4mining linked to a recruitment agency?
A No, Jobs4mining is an independent private company who is not linked to any clients or organisations
Who will see my CV?
A You will be offered varying degrees of privacy on your personal details, if you wish to submit your details for any jobs that have a direct match with your searches then you can, if you would rather be advised of all job matches then decide to submit your application, that’s fine as well. The client will be told that they have a match but you have declined to apply.
Will my contact details be visible?
A You’re contact details will only be visible when you have agreed it.

How do I cancel my email alerts?
A You can cancel your email alerts at any time via your company profile. If you select candidates by email you can select the option to switch off email alerts.
Are we Government funded?
A We are a private company, but we work with many government organisations.
How much will it cost me the client?
A There will be a cost attributed to retrieving a CV or posting a job on the Jobs4mining site. For further details and exact costs please contact the Jobs4mining team who will be happy to help. Please contact us and we will gladly answer any questions you may have.
Can I search the database without being registered?
A Yes you can but it will only bring up restricted details of the candidate, once you have registered you will be able to search all candidates who have agreed to show their details , if you wish to purchase a CV, you will then be provided with all the contact details that are held on our database.
How can I receive candidates by e-mail?
A When you register you will be asked how if you wish to be sent email alerts of candidates matching your searches. If you select to switch the service on, all candidates with direct matches will be sent to you as soon as they register, until the service is cancelled.
What happens if I need to ask some more questions?
A The Jobs4mining team is here to provide all the assistance you need. Please contact us and we will gladly answer any questions you may have.
Are Jobs4mining linked to a recruitment agency?
A No, Jobs4mining is an independent private company who is not linked to any clients or organisations.
How long will a job remain active?
A This is entirely up to you, you can choose for the job to be posted for any length of time to begin with, or just keep renewing it as you are notified that the time limit will expire
Do the candidates contact details remain confidential?
A The candidate chooses the level of security that they would like to have around there contact details. We will never disclose these details without the candidates prior consent.
