Our client have a number of operational coal mines in Tajikistan.

They are looking for a Project Manager to:

Oversee the Mines and help develop production as they are scheduled to increase;

Define and manage development of underground resources and oversee construction of 40km haulage road.

Previous operational experience in difficult and remote operating environments is essential. The Mine sites are at altitude in mountainous area.

The role requires a pragmatic and flexible approach to problem solving.

The company has an office in the Capital, Dushanbe where you can work from, although the majority of work will be done from the sites.

You may have a background as a Mining Engineer, Civil Engineer or Production Geologist, but you must have a proven track record in man management.

An ability to speak Russian or have previous experience in Russian speaking countries is going to be essential.

The role offers an 8/2 rotation, with food and accommodation paid for and an opportunity to gain experience in Project Managing the development of a new project to full production levels.
