The Position:

This position is for a Senior Technical Consultant to lead and develop the geological services business and team.

The role is based around some key business deliverable areas:

Business Development

• Drive new growth in geological services work and develop pipeline.
• Prepare proposals and bids.
• Initiate, build and develop client relationships

Solutions Consulting

• Define client needs
• Responsible for project delivery and management
• Ownership for quality of deliverables to client
• Account Management of clients where appropriate

People Management

• Provide leadership within the Geological team
• Participate in recruitment, development and assessment of Geological team

Business Unit: Europe, Middle East and North Africa
Location: Coalville, Leicester, UK
Reporting to: Principal Consultant

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in Geology with 7-12 years experience in leading and developing teams, delivering high level consulting projects with proven project management and business development experience.

Ideally this person will have experience with technology, preferably with Gemcom or related software and products.

It is desirable that this person has familiarity with MS Project and managing budgets, forecasting and planning the allocation of resources.

It is essential that the successful candidate is eligible to live and work in the UK.
