About Centerra

We’re a company of miners and that makes us explorers. That means we go where the gold is, even if it takes us across the world. We’ve followed our entrepreneurial spirit and sense of adventure up some of the highest mountains of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. It’s how we’ve made our name to become a leading North American gold producer and the largest Western based gold producer in Central Asia. In Central Asia, we produced almost 680,000 ounces of gold in 2010 and we’re expecting to produce between 600,000 - 650,000 ounces of gold in 2011. Though we’re based out of Toronto, Canada, we’re constantly preparing and looking to grow and expand. As a gold mining and exploration company, our objective is to build through acquisition, exploration and joint ventures worldwide. With mines and future plans in Nevada, Turkey, Russia, Central Asia and other emerging markets, we’re not looking to slow down anytime soon. And we do it all with the help of over 3,300 of some of the industry’s best people who help us expand our horizons and go even further than we’ve ever gone before. We’re a different kind of gold mining company that respects your expertise and experience by offering the support, great pay and benefits you’ve worked for.
