Job Category: Human Resources
The Crew Leader, Mechanical will professionally deliver competency based learning and assessment to a culturally diverse workforce in on job and off job situations. Supervise a team of instructors; contribute to a larger team of educational professionals at all times demonstrating those behaviors that fully support QMS Values and PTFI SHE policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities:

1. Implement QMS Values, follow and apply PTFI SHE policies and procedures, in order to be a role model for colleagues and development program participants.
2. Demonstrate expert competence in the principle and application of competency based learning so that development programs delivered and assessed meet CBD standards.
3. Professionally deliver/facilitate on and off the job Competency Based Development in field of expertise in order to meet PTFI customer development needs and quality standards.
4. Create competency based learning materials so that learning programs delivered achieve their intended learning outcomes.
5. Create competency based assessment tools; professionally conduct on and off the job competency assessments in field of expertise in order to ensure assessment standards are met.
6. Develop and communicate learning program schedules, implement schedules to ensure those programs are delivered as planned and meet customer requirements.
7. Review, record and report participant learning and assessment results so that participant records are consistently kept up to date and recorded in the company learning management system.
8. Develop the technical and instructional competence of instructors and assistant instructors so that they are able to effectively deliver and assess competency based learning programs.
9. Supervise a group of assistant instructors, Staff instructors and senior instructors, in order to ensure that group delivers a range of professional competency based learning and assessment services that meet or exceed customer requirements.
10. Coordinate competency based learning projects so that these projects are completed to standard, on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) with five (5) years directly related work experience.
• Demonstrate a level of technical competence equivalent to that of a master tradesperson or similar, supported by at least eight (8) years directly related work experience.

• Qualifications in the creation, scheduling, delivery and assessment of competency based learning programs with at least four (4) years directly related instructional experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Concern for Safety and Environmental.
• Customer Success Orientation.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
• Strong Team Leadership skills.
