Working for a world leading mining contractor, the Mining Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of production within this open pit gold mine. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Mining Manager is ultimately responsible for all production within this prestigious open pit gold mine.

Opportunity

Oversee all production within the open pit mine, including but not limited to: drill & blasting, excavation, hauling, mine services and earthworks, dewatering and client communications.

Mining Manager Role

• Oversee, manage, and coordinate all mining activities within the pit.
• Communicate with the Project Manager and the client.
• Supervise and mentor a staff of expats and national trades people.
• Achieve production targets as set out by the client and upper management.
• Manage budgets and produce reports effectively.

Mining Manager Experience and Skill Set Requirements

• 10 years of open pit mining experience.
• Mining contractor experience is an asset.
• Vast production experience.
• Strong management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in English and French.
