General Superintendent, Reliability Maintenance: Papua Indonesia


Direct, plan, review, analyze and control RCM routine and non-routine work on specific technology (vibration analysis, NDT, IR Tech, and Tribology) and Lubrication System to ensure the reliability equipment to achieve and meet production target efficiently and cost effectiveness. Specifically, mentor the national Superintendent on current RCM best practices, as well as, assist in providing a safe operating environment for the mechanical maintenance crews.

Additional Responsibilities:

1.            Guide, perform, monitor and control the implementation of safety standards and procedures within working areas to ensure the safety and environmental implementation and zero tolerance of accident.

2.            Manage and provide leadership for all technicians that include performance evaluations, discipline, absenteeism, vacations scheduling, training and other applicable managerial tasks to ensure all activities run smoothly.

3.            Ensure technicians are properly trained to use and read the data obtained from PdM equipment to ensure all works meet the target with the optimum quality.

4.            Check and monitor proper tooling is available and properly maintained and calibrated for use with PdM technicians to ensure all tools are ready to be used.

5.            Plan and oversee the training and development of technicians to ensure all crews' development are following the current situation in the field.

6.            Serve as a mentor and coach to provide technical, practical and field support in the various areas of RCM, focusing on increasing maintenance effectiveness, productivity and lowering cost through improved practices.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Maintenance working in a large scale, complex underground mine, -OR- High School / Vocational School Diploma with a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in Maintenance.
  • Equipment and Process reliability knowledge.
  • Concern for Safety and Environment.
  • Proven experience in predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Experience in reading data for equipment and documenting changes.
  • Technical background with experience in maintenance.
  • Advanced MS Office computer skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong managerial and team leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and willing to learn Bahasa.
