Our client, a leading global gold producer with a strong portfolio of assets, currently seeks a Data Architect to join their large technical department. This company have grown at a rapid pace in recent years and demonstrated a commitment to promoting their talent in line with that growth.

Working closely with the entire exploration team, the Data Architect will:

• Play a critical role in the design and implementation of key software.
• Identify and integrate priority data policies according to users’ needs.
• Ensure data architecture principles and policies are aligned with the corresponding disciplines.
• Conduct training and mentoring programs to ensure understanding of the data procedures within the business.
• Oversee and participate in IT projects related to data architecture.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in data architecture or a relevant field, ideally within the mining industry. 

We can consider people with a relevant degree and sound knowledge of ITIL, Six Sigma, Scrum or equivalent.  

This is a FIFO opportunity in an attractive West African destination.
