Residential (Single Status)

$72’000- $96’000 + inclusive package

 My client, a private equity backed mining company are searching for a Process Plant Superintendent to oversee the entire process plant, encompassing operations and production. Reporting the General Manager, responsibilities will include:

 

• Coordinating all plant engineering tasks, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, utilities, and general services.

• Coordinating plant maintenance activities and initiate preventative maintenance plans to minimise operation downtime.

• Responding to equipment failure and breakdown to minimize production losses.

• Ensuring execution of work in accordance with design, specifications, and instructions.

• Ensuring all activities are conducted safely with appropriate procedures, safeguards, and controls.

• Ensuring personnel have the appropriate equipment, licenses, skills, induction, and training for safe task execution.

• Planning, approve, and monitor expenditure under your authority, controlling plant operating and capital budgets.

• Preparing daily, monthly, and annual plant KPI reports and compare with budgets.

 

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing), or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years in plant operations and exposure to Mineral processing crushing circuits, XRF ore sorters, rod mills, ball mills, jigs, spirals, shaker tables circuits. Experience working with Tin or Zinc is beneficial and having the ability to operate and/or commission a Gravity Flotation Process Plant.
