Our client, a successful West-African gold mining operator, is currently looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing finance team on site. This business has huge potential for developing its current assets and leading sustainable production, responsible sourcing and talent growth.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, some of the responsibilities include:

• Advising on statutory structures to minimise tax exposures.
• Participating in M&A negotiations to advise on tax efficiency.
• Monitoring group tax reports and compliance.
• Oversight of in-country tax compliance.
• Preparation of board reports and related analysis.
• Preparation/oversight/coordination of annual tax computation.
• Developing and roll out the group tax reporting policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Tax Management ideally within the mining industry.
