Our client, a well-established mining company with successful extraordinary assets in Central Africa, is currently looking for a new site CFO to join the in-country management team in leading and developing the existing mining operation through an exciting period of growth and change.

Reporting directly to the CFO at the HQ and leading a large team on site, the role will take responsibility for the following functions: Finance, Tax, Procurement, Warehousing, Contracts, I.T and Admin. 

The key to the role will be the creation of a homogenous support function: aligning finance with operations, bringing IT in line with other assets, solving many Supply Chain problems ensuring that the asset complies with group policy and doing the same with contract and accounting procedures. 

We seek a Finance Manager who truly understands mining and has driven a remote mining asset in a similar way before. Fluency of French would be advantageous as would a detailed knowledge of OHADA principles. This is the ideal opportunity to join a successfully growing business with excellent career progression.
