To manage and oversee all boiler tube repairs activities during construction.


Location: Donoso  Site: Cobre Panama

We are currently searching for an experienced Boiler Reconditioning Superintendent who would be experienced in coal fired power plant construction and who will manage the boiler tube reconditioning project .

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the repairs of the power station boiler tubes to avoid any negative impacts during construction.
Provide technical support to the construction team thus ensuring proper coordination of corrective actions to repair defective parts identified at site.

Engineering Control: 
Understand and manage the application of ASME Section I Code and applicable NB repair procedures.

Construction Function:
Coordinate with the Site personnel, Boiler Designer, Repair Contractor, and any sub-contractors to complete the repair/replacements of the boiler tubes.
Manage the contractor and any sub-contractor to produce acceptable repairs which met the project schedule.
Additional Construction support as defined by the Construction Services Manager.

Scheduling:
Coordinate with Project Control for avoiding negative impacts in the schedule because of delayed delivery of the repair/reconditioned or resupplied material.

QA/QC Support:
Coordinate with QA/QC for applying the applicable procedures and specifications to the reconditioning of the boiler tubes.

Preparation of Project Close-Out & Handover
Coordinate with the contractor and Site QA/QC to hand over inspection and repair reports.
Assist the Construction team as required.
