Job Description

 

Reporting to the Resourcing & Talent Development Lead, the RLDO will provide co-ordination and assistance with the internal & external recruitment process and assist with rolling out the learning and development programs and initiatives across local Kinross – Tasiast employees. Ensuring quality service delivery to the HR Business Partnering team and to the wider Company. 

 

Job Responsibilities

Resourcing and talent acquisition

  • Co-ordinate the internal and external recruitment and selection procedure to ensure the process is completed within a timely manner and to highest level of service. 
  • Ensure all position descriptions are updated and job specifications are prepared for role vacancies. Revise and validate as required. Arrange translations of any relevant documents in French or English if necessary.
  • Produce, distribute and monitor position advertisements and applications. Ensuring roles are posted to appropriate job board/colleges etc.
  • Ensure that all vacancies are aligned / validated to the approved resource plan and budget.
  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Provide first level screening of candidates resumes and role applications and provide on time responses.
  • Schedule and prepare interviews, including interview guidelines.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule and arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arrange travel etc.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, personality, experience and aptitudes against role profile.
  • Prepare new employment paperwork including the generation of contracts / welcome packs.
  • Ensure that all the files of the new recruited person are properly stored.
  • Provide well documented / analytical reports on every interviewed candidate.
  • Ensure HR Business Partners are kept informed of all recruitment assignments / progress.

Learning & development

  • Assist Resourcing & Talent Development Lead with evaluating organisational needs, reviewing costs and sourcing courses / programs / resources to deliver the learning & development calendar of programs.
  • In conjunction with HR Business Partners support Managers / Superintendents with co-ordinating and ensuring learning and development events / programs are effectively delivered / resourced.
  • Arrange, create, produce and distribute training-related material and set up facilities as required
  • Assist with effective delivery of new employee induction / on boarding programs.
  • Co-facilitate workplace / talent assessments conducted by TMLSA or by external providers
  • Maintain the learning and development calendar and communicate across the Company

 

Education and Experience

  • To be Mauritanian
  • Bachelor/ Master degree/ tertiary qualifications in psychology/ Human Resource or business administration
  • Up to 3 years previous experience within a similar position.
  • Very good French and English level both speaking and writing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of software skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and outlook programs.
  • Proven experience with selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checking, police checks).
  • Solid ability to prepare and conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress related).
  • Ability to organize assessment centers (work samples, psychometric tests).
  • Demonstrated experience with HR information systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Success Factors (e.g. Talent Mine).
