Reporting to the Power Plant Area Construction Manager we are looking at employing a Finishing Team Coordinator to provide overall direction and guidance for the mechanical portion of two 150 MW coal fired boilers located in Punta Rincon Panama.

In this role we will require the incumbent to:

* Work closely with the Commissioning team to ensure a smooth transition from construction to commissioning.
* Arrange regular walk downs to identify and mitigate potential risks that could adversely affect project completion.
* Coordinate punch lists, RFIs, quality reports and other physical documentation for plant readiness before commissioning.
* Develop completion packages and track progress.
* Manage and coordinate QA/QC inspections.
* Lead a team of technicians and coordinate resources to perform corrective/preventative maintenance.
* Work closely with the construction and engineering team to ensure all quality aspects are in place before starting with commissioning.
* Ensure quality checks and repairs were completed and recorded to ensure a smooth transition to start-up.
* Develop completion procedures, practices and guidelines.

Experience

Fifteen years' plus experience in the construction industry.
Background includes extensive experience in the Power Plants, Metals Processing, Alumina Refining &/or the Oil & Gas industries.
Has directly executed, supervised and managed projects involving electrical maintenance, hydraulic maintenance and mechanical maintenance.
Has managed and supervised multinational and multicultural crews varying in crafts and size from 10 employees to 14 crews in remote locations.
