8 Week on 2 Week off Expatriate Roster

Essential tasks of the successful candidate will include:

* Report directly to the Field/Workshop Supervisor, Maintenance, Repair and Preservation.
* Maintain and promote the site Safety and Environmental standards.
* Manage the Field/Workshop activities which will include; equipment inspection, preservation and Field/Workshop repairs. You will also coordinate instrument and electrical field work.
* Interface with engineering, commissioning and vendor groups to obtain all preservation/repair data and processes; pre and post installation.
* Ensure proper record keeping of all preservation and repair work.
* Manage vendors and other contractors who need to work in the field.
* Work closely with Construction, Commissioning and Logistic teams.
* Cover for the Field/Workshop Maintenance, Repair and Preservation Supervisor during their rotation leave.

Qualifications and Key Responsibilities:

* Have at least 5 years of experience supervising a maintenance field/workshop group in a fixed plant - power plant or similar situation, in a remote location.
* Be accomplished in supervising mechanical and fabrication artisans and management of instrument and electrical artisans. Ensuring that all work is done to the manufacturers specifications.
* Have at least 2-3 years of experience working in an expatriate position.
* Be willing to transfer your technical knowledge and skills to our national employees.
* Be willing to provide hands on instruction to our national employees.
* Participate in the planning of both your long and short term activities.
* Provide accurate reports/feed back to the planning group.
* English language fluency is essential and Spanish language abilities will be highly regarded.
