Job Description: 
Our client, with mining operations in Liberia, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead their team on site for the maintenance of earth moving equipment.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and managing maintenance for earth moving equipment.
  • Scheduling maintenance and repairs.
  • Budgeting and cost control.
  • Implementing condition monitoring processes.
  • Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are adhered to.
  • Providing mentoring and training.

 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Liberian nationals encouraged to apply.
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 10 years minimum experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
  • 5 years minimum experience in a senior level position.
  • Well-versed in the maintenance of shovels and loaders.
  • Understanding of health, safety, environmental and legislative standards and requirements in Liberia.
  • Previous experience in accident and incident investigation.
  • Experience in cost control and budgeting.
  • Computer literate.
  • Experience providing mentoring and training.
