Under direct supervision, perform a variety of duties relating to Compensation Administration. Acquire, organize and manage position descriptions. Update and maintain Compensation Administration support documentation to ensure consistency. Research and coordinate resolutions to issue escalations from site HR and the HR Service Center as assigned.

  • Gather information and supporting documentation to determine pay recommendations using the appropriate pay model for the requested position
  • Effectively research and communicate results to Compensation team and/or site HR personnel
  • Record and review all North America and South America tickets in a timely manner and prepare weekly, monthly, bi-yearly and yearly reports
  • Lead weekly department meetings for active ticket status updates
  • Review and maintain job catalog and job/position descriptions to ensure consistent and accurate documentation to all related sources including requisitions/templates and minimum qualification tables
  • Lead job/position description library and job catalog cleanup projects as needed
  • Administer/oversee initial review of position and job code requests for South America
  • Provide assistance to site HR with job/position code requests
  • Respond to issue escalations from HR Service Center as assigned by collaborating with peers to conduct research, investigate inquiries and provide resolution
  • Oversee department’s SharePoint site and assist department with site inquiries and requests
  • Designated department Power User for SharePoint
  • Conduct research and prepare regular/ad hoc compensation reports as necessary
  • Identify issues and make recommendations on any gaps or discrepancies
  • Assist team members in salary surveys and prepare files for automated salary matching
  • Support or conduct other compensation-related projects as required
  • Perform other duties as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of experience supporting Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation or related field


  • High School diploma or GED
  • SharePoint
  • Completion of Communicate with Anyone Course


  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ
  • Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator and internal staircase
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
