Maintain and continuously improve the reporting requirements of the Technical Services department, while supporting the Concentrating Division management team in achieving the Divisions' mission and objectives.
Additional responsibilities:
  1. Ensure safety and environmental standards for the Division are complied with.
  2. Ensure Division reporting requirements are met, both externally and internally to the Division.
  3. Respond to needs of department managers/Division VP and provide technical support as required.  Be ready to quantify potential gains of projects, and assist in with supporting documents, such as an AFE.
  4. Develop and implement short-term remediation plans for non-performing areas within the Division. 
  5. Help formulate Division budgets as well as project and capital plans.
  6. Maintain existing relationships and develop new relationships with external vendors/consultants such that PTFI continues to have access to the best professionals in the industry.
  7. Update procedures for Metallurgical Accounting reports, including reconciliation and forecasting.  Include procedures for non-standard reporting.
  8. Audit calibration procedures for Concentrating instrumentation.  Monitor the condition of key instruments on a routine basis.


  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Metallurgical (mineral processing) with ten (10) years experience in mill metallurgy and operations.
  • Experience in global financial reporting operations.
  • Metallurgy and Mineral Process knowledge.
  • Understanding of mineral processing business drivers.
  • Ability to supervise direct reports.
  • Ability to manage long- and short-term projects.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • High level communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong English skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Highly proactive and achievement oriented.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic level of the Indonesian language in understanding and oral (preferable but not essential).
