Job Description

Manage the oversight of the Catering and Camp Services Contract and personnel to ensure best quality, performance and efficiencies are met. The Manager will also provide expertise and guidance to our Corporate Planning Team to ensure the infrastructure to support catering and camp services can adequately support the current and expanding workforce.
Additional Responsibilities:
1.           Provide proper guidance to the Catering and Housekeeping vendor management to ensure company objectives are both aligned and met.
2.           Monitor vendor performance and provide input that results in performance improvement.
3.           Review what is currently in place and assist in the development of a three to five (3-5) year plan that is based on manpower forecast and facility planning. This includes: food services for mess halls and retail outlets; laundry services; housekeeping; restaurant management; and lifestyle services management, (fitness centers and libraries).
4.           Improve quality, performance and efficiency.
5.           Establish an ongoing audit process to monitor quality of food services, laundry, housekeeping and lifestyle services. Audit results and enforce accountability.
6.           Establish key performance indicators (KPI's) with the contract commercial team that will focus on the key objectives of quality, performance, and efficiency.
7.           Make sure these KPI's continually drive the proper behavior and make adjustments as needed.
8.           Other initiatives deemed important that may be assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) with ten (10) years of experience in the field and preferred experience in international catering and camp services operating in remote locations.
  • Experience in providing meal services 24/7 to greater than 15,000 employees daily and managing housing camps services for communities over 15,000 employees.
  • Customer service trained with core competency in food and hospitality industry.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Infrastructure planning skills to include expansions of kitchen and mess facilities.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • High level communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong English skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Highly proactive and achievement oriented.
  • Highly focused toward satisfying customer requirements.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diversified workforce.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic level of the Indonesian language in understanding and oral (preferable but not essential).
  • MBA with ten (10) years of experience in the field and preferred experience in international catering and camp services operating in remote locations.
