Under minimal supervision, assist Attorneys and Legal Managers in managing and conducting day-to-day legal operations.  Lead and manage projects, interface with outside counsel and other parties on complex issues, collaborate with coworkers company-wide, prepare correspondence and legal documents to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, attend meetings and conduct complicated research.
  • Identify, gather and review information; comply with information requests, investigations, due diligence, discovery and document production; investigate the factual evidence of a transaction, event, proceeding or case; and prepare summaries, analyses, tables, charts or diagrams to display such information
  • Actively assist in analysis of information gathered and how it relates to specific transaction or project at issue
  • Manage life cycle of business entities, including drafting Corporate minutes, complex legal documents, reports and correspondence
  • Interface with in-house counsel and staff, outside counsel, contractors, government agencies and business clients on legal matters or assigned projects
  • Conduct traditional and internet legal research for applicable laws, regulations, cases, business information due diligence materials, government filings and other required research, which may include international law; prepare summary of findings as requested
  • Oversee maintenance of power of attorney database and Global Entity Management System
  • Participate in appropriate department initiatives (e.g., meetings, assigned or voluntary projects, technology training) as recommended by Manager; may also conduct various training sessions for staff members; develop department-wide forms
  • Work closely with team members to ensure that all pertinent information, documents and records are appropriately organized and maintained in centralized Legal Department electronic and hard copy files
  • Serve as Notary Public
  • Perform other duties as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program and five (5) years of relevant experience as a Paralegal for a law firm, corporation or government agency
  • Able to use a variety of computer software, including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Office Suite), as well as SharePoint
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and consistently focus attention on details
  • Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability and willingness to keep client and department matters confidential
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards



  • Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience as a Paralegal for a law firm, corporation or government agency
  • Prior paralegal management experience
  • Committed to professional development and training
  • Familiarity with computer information systems
  • Curiosity and outstanding work ethic


  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see
  • Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy boxes (up to 25 pounds) during the course of the workday
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
