Job Description

 

The role of Site Services camp coordinator is to improve work force productivity and the services’ quality by anticipating and eliminating potential risk that can compromise hygiene, quality or the hospitality.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, and maids) and set clear objectives
  • Plan activities to achieve the most efficient operating model
  • Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient strategy to promote the camp services
  • Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)
  • Assist camp superintendent and site services manager for any inquiry related to customers observation and remarks, also help the manager in data collection and reporting
  • Suggest improvements to the running of the business and developing Tasiast restaurants
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maximize efficiency of operations

Qualifications & Skills Requirements

  •  Master/ Bachelor Degree in Hotel/Hospitality, Business Administration, Management or relevant field

  •  Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset

  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  •  Demonstrable aptitude in problem-solving

  •  Motivated with great attention to detail and quality service

  •  Relevant experience in sales or any roles with direct contact with customer

  • Fluency in English is a must, Knowledge of Arabic and French or any other languages is a plus

  • A welcoming personality, with a genuine desire to help others
  • Being calm and direct in a stressful situation and being able to communicate in a multicultural environment
  • Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, excel, PowerPoint)

  • An excellent eye for details
  • Experience abroad is a plus
