Job Ref:

  • Subject matter expert in data reporting for contracting activities using the relevant systems and providing analysis and recommendations on contract controls and contracting activities
  • Provide direction and support on the implementations of Contract Controls and/or other high priority processes
  • Recommend and pursue changes to new or existing Corporate contracting activities guidelines and/or policies
  • Utilizing data from Corporate implemented systems, provide oversight on contractor compliance and onboarding activities from a corporate level, providing value to the process at the operating sites
  • Create value in analyzing, recommending, and administering Master Agreements for regional and/or high dollar contracts
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or reduce company liability by ensuring compliance to Global Supply Chain operational policies, contractual requirements, and governmental regulations
  • Provide site guidance and support, as needed, for special projects, coverage during shortage of resources and/or when providing support adds value to individual sites
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering, OR
  • Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering




  • Knowledge and experience with projects and processes related to supply chain and/or operational management including contracts and contract management, Cost Modeling, and planning systems
  • Knowledge and experience with system reporting and analytical techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate effectively within a complex organizational structure to drive organizational and business process reengineering
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Contract Management / ERP systems
  • Basic understanding of root cause analysis and the ability to use it to identify and quantify the benefits of improving processes and tools within supply chain
  • Experience in data modeling, functional design documentation, and application testing
  • Experience in vendor management and compliance processes
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Good oral and written communications
  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ
  • Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator
  • Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
