Job Description:

Currently looking for a Lead Cost Control Engineer who has been in a similar role and experience in building and reviewing Estimates of Mega Projects.

 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Cost Control Experience for Mega Capital Industrial Projects (>$500 Million).
  • Mining experience.
  • Estimate preparation and Estimate Reviews Experience.
  • Experience managing cost of projects during various stages of Project Life (PFS, FEED & Execution)
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar Lead Cost position (total experience not less than 15 years).
  • Lead Cost Estimates preparation and/or reviews.
  • Experience in building Owner Cost Estimates and Updates.
  • Experience in Mining
  • Ensure the Projects are working according to approved procedures, processes, methods, tools and best practices.
  • Previous experience with Project Audits and/or in Governance roles will be an added asset.
  • Be the Cost functional support to users on the approved Procedures, Processes, Methods and Tools
  • Propose and support Processes, Methods and tools improvements and deployment in the site.
  • Monitor and Control detailed cost forecasts, actuals, and estimates evolution.
  • Plan and Conduct Program Functional Costs Reviews.
  • Project Management skills
  • Proven Leadership experience
  • Strong using Microsoft Excel and Presentation skills (Power Point).
  • Experience with Stage Gate Governance and previous experience managing Cost Control during FEED and Execution.
  • Experience working in the Gulf region beneficial
