The Role

This position supports the Talent Management strategy at IAMGOLD by identifying, designing, developing, and managing programs and projects to ensure IAMGOLD has the right talent, with the right skills, in the right positions, at the right time. This role also plays a key role in driving a strong culture and furthering the growth strategy at IAMGOLD. The Talent Manager of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for the delivery of HR programs, ranging from onboarding to performance management/succession planning; and specifically relatable to the employment talent lifecycle (Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition are excluded). The Talent manager is also the first point of contact for assigned programs and supports the Business Partners in effective change management and implementation of programs.

Your Responsibilities:

Consults and guides Business Partners and supports the organization on already designed global programs (for ex, Performance Management). Develop and implements change management and communication plans with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement.
Evaluates existing programs and develops a plan for enhancements and introduction of new improvements (for ex, Succession Planning, EVP). Design global performance management and succession planning processes.
Collaborates with key stakeholders in other functions/departments to gather insight into program development (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Communications, Total Rewards, and Business Partners).
Manages a cross functional team of HR practitioners to achieve desired outcome (for ex, HR Operations for rollout of technology enhancements for Performance). Manages one direct report by providing feedback and coaching, and conducts performance reviews and additional people management activities. Works with the talent acquisition team on hiring efforts.
Directs the implementation of the organization’s HR programs, including providing coaching and guidance to managers, leading talent reviews, and running full design, planning, implementation in consultation with the Global Head of Talent.
Analyzes HR scorecards to provide data-driven recommendations for improvements to HR programs to the Head of Talent and to measure progress against goals.


What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience.
Proficiency with HR information systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
