Under general supervision, oversee analytical development, modeling, testing (EDW universe changes, Business Objects reports, IBM Maximo, SAP, master data) and reporting for materials management related functions. Lead and participate in Global Supply Chain projects and initiatives focused on developing new or enhanced solutions for data intensive problems. Provide analytical support for Supply Chain teams globally including collaboration with business subject matter experts. The role will provide analysis and quantitative models as part of cross-functional process improvement projects. The role will also provide visualizations and descriptive results of analyses and will be responsible for communication and distribution of those results to Senior Leadership at the sites and at the Corporate office.
  • Work closely with maintenance, operations, supply chain and technology teams to develop solution to data-intensive business problems
  • Track and report regional and Corporate wide performance against inventory management, warehouse management and supply chain related metrics and objectives; analyze and identify root causes of under-performance and work with sites to implement changes to improve performance to meet or exceed targets
  • Lead and participate in projects and initiatives focused on developing and implementing new or enhanced inventory management processes, systems and technologies across the company, leveraging industry best practices
  • Prepare reports and presentations, and communicate with Executives and Senior Leadership at the sites and in the Corporate office
  • Provide thought leadership in algorithmic, reporting and metric design, process innovations, and creativity in solving unconventional problems
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and six (6) years of combined experience in inventory management, system and project management and analysis projects required; OR
  • Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and four (4) years of combined experience in inventory management, system and project management and analysis projects required
  • Proficient in quantitative modeling and predictive analytics
  • Proficient in Inventory Management and/or Warehouse Management concepts and strategies
  • Experience with Business Objects, Excel and MS Office
  • Experience with Visio and MS Project or similar software



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or Applied Mathematics
  • Experience with EDW, SQL, Visual Basic and SAP
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish


  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ
  • Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator
  • Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in an outdoor or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and other protective equipment as required
