The Role

The Analyst, HR Analytics and Insights is responsible to support the development and deployment of an analytics framework across the People function. The Analyst develops tools and strategic HR Dashboards and Business Insights by creating engaging visual data presentation based on raw data on a variety of HR subjects including turnover, workforce planning, exit surveys, recruiting metrics among others. The incumbent performs data validation, integration and audit and provides reporting and analytical support to the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

Key Area: Reporting and Data Analytics


Design reports to answer relevant business questions and communicate key HR metrics to stakeholders in easy to understand report and dashboard formats.
Automate, generate, analyze, and distributes recurring HR metrics and ad-hoc reports to the appropriate stakeholders
Deploy reporting analytics that enhance accuracy and efficiency and deliver reports in a timely and effective manner.
Conducts analysis of workforce data and leverages reporting and analytics to identify opportunities, patterns and risks. Proactively identify trends for further management discussion and review.
Develop, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
Gather data to create, analyze and deliver various ad-hoc reports.
Study data trends to develop insights and actionable strategy.
Troubleshoot and resolve system, data and process related issues in a timely manner.
Use strong analytical skills with knowledge of business rules associated with HR system including the upcoming HCM Core HR implementation, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management.

Key Area: Data Management and Audit


Maintain systems to ensure efficient operations, processing and report generation through researching system related problems reported from HR users or business units.
Maintain documentation such as design documents, architecture and flow diagrams as applicable.
Build and modify statistical and predictive analytical models, algorithms, queries and methodologies.
Routinely audit system data and processes to ensure data continuity and process control across HR modules, platforms, and systems. Present findings professionally and in a manner which best fits the target audience.

Key Area: HR System Process Design & Standardization


Define and document specifications for functional business processes.
Recommend process and work flow to improve efficiency and/or customer service. Recommend changes to allow for improved data accuracy, as well as, propose metrics to evaluate department and business changes.
Review proposed changes on impact to system and users. Coordinate and may lead discussions on business impact and reporting needs. Work with others to define technical feasibility, timelines, and resource needs for new or changed system functionality and alignment to business goals.


What we look for:

University degree with a background or focus on analytics, data science

Up to 3 years of related work experience

Analytical skills with the ability to visualize data and manipulate large data sets

Proficiency with Tableau, SPSS, Watson, EMS and other visualization and statistical tools

Strong presentation and Power Point skills

Understanding of HR Information Systems and interdependencies

Functional knowledge of Visio
