Maintenance Training Supervisor - West Africa

A newly created position has become available for an experienced Training and Development Supervisor (Maintenance) to become a part of our West African operations. This will be a roaming position tasked with the progressive development of national personnel skill sets and experience and will report into the Training Manager. This is a permanent position and will be offered on 7 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster. 


Key Responsibilities:


·         Ensure site training practices are standardised so that skill sets are transportable within the business group

·         Assist in developing training programs and procedures to maximise knowledge retention in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment

·         Coordination and facilitation of Caterpillar / Liebherr technical systems training to Maintenance teams

·         Heavy equipment machine servicing, inspections, repairs, troubleshooting and diagnostics training

·         Design and develop training course content, instructor’s guides, training aids, handouts, hands-on activities and assessments

·         Revise existing courses and update material, based on technology and equipment advancements

 

About You:


·         TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent

·         Certificate IV in Leadership or Equivalent

·         Ability to speak and write both French and English

·         Highly experienced in mining and maintenance efficiencies training

·         10+ years of hands-on mining machinery maintenance experience along with 5 years of experience in a training or leadership level position

·         Solid equipment knowledge with a strong background in CAT and Liebherr

·         Experience in mine fleet management systems is desirable

·         Posses a current HR and international Driving License
