HR Advisor - Talent Acquisition and Onboarding - Rosebel Mine Site

The Role


To provide operational and tactical HR expertise for issues relating to the full cycle of Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding. The incumbent of this role will own the full life cycle of TA and On-Boarding process (posting, identifying, attracting, assessing, hiring and onboarding talent) with strong knowledge of the business/culture and the available talent pool in their assigned territories.
This role will be based out of the Rosebel mine site from Monday to Friday.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and execute Talent Acquisition strategies to identify and attract top talent for the organization.
Conduct Recruiting Strategy Meetings with hiring managers to ensure an understanding of the recruiting needs and job requirements, and advise on most appropriate action to take.
Own the sourcing and management of candidate pools, which includes building and maintaining talent pipelines to fill positions in a timely manner, and identifying and approaching active and passive candidates through internal and external channels, including social media.
Communicate with Hiring Managers regularly regarding the status of the recruiting process, as well as facilitate ongoing professional communication with all stakeholders involved in the recruiting process.
Manage the candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) database and the inflow of candidate resumes.
Screen applications, conduct behavioral based interviews, assess and select the most appropriate candidates to present to the hiring manager based on required skill sets, qualifications and competency requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and hiring team throughout the recruitment process including coordination of interview scheduling with the candidate and hiring manager.
Train the hiring manager and hiring teams on competency selection, interviewing skills, recruiting processes and selection tools to ensure proper hiring procedures are followed.
Conduct consensus meetings with the hiring team on candidate selection, act as an ongoing candidate relationship manager and provide ongoing value-added recruitment advice to the hiring manager.
Establish/create and maintain an active and smooth new employee onboarding system.


Qualifications

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required;
At least 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources or related field;
Knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in the functional area of Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding. Typically developed and gained through related formal education and related experience or an equivalent combination;
Professionalism and discretion to maintain confidential information;
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Previous experience using social channels such as LinkedIn to source candidates;
Exceptional relationship building and customer service skills;
Exemplary organizational and time management skills;
Must have strong attention to detail and follow through;
Fluency in Dutch and English is required;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including public speaking.
