Description du poste

 

Reporting to the Civil Superintendent, the Site Supervisor is responsible to exercise direct control over contractors working in their areas.

Responsabilités associées au poste

 

  • Site Supervisors have responsibility for ensuring contractors execute their scopes of work in a safe manner to the required quality and in compliance with design specifications.
  • Ensure that concrete cube tests will be conducted at all concrete pours and slump tests on all concrete deliveries
  • Manage the Laboratory and Surveying on site;
  • Provide overall construction management oversight including schedule in conjunction with the Civil Superintendet, Subcontractors and clients
  • Manager the work site in the safest and most efficient manner, working cohesively with the safety team to ensure worksite health and safety is never compromised
  • Plan our need for the aggregate, water, crushing dust with Site Services
  • Manager work permit and other required documentations
  • Help the contractors to respect all rules at Tasiast
  • Prepare Daily reports
Études et expérience

 

  • 5-10 years industrial experience with a minimum of 5 years as a supervisor in heavy civil construction
  • Train the trainer and other supervisory training is considered an asset
  • Past experience in Tasiast will be highly appreciated
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsfot Office applications
