Reliability Coordinator, Mine Maintenance - Rosebel Mine Site

The Role

As part of the Mine Maintenance department this individual will develop a predictive maintenance program to work in parallel with our preventative maintenance process as well as liaison closely with our Planning Department to create extremely proactive approach to eliminate inefficiencies. Responsible for all persons and activities within the Reliability Department.


Your Responsibilities:

Oversee condition monitoring activities related to site wide equipment;
Develop and implement reliability programs that will maximize production and profit by minimizing equipment downtime;
Act as a technical resource to assist the maintenance group with troubleshooting equipment problems;
Conduct regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment;
Develop and produce monthly equipment and work management performance KPI's;
Analyze maintenance procedures and make recommendations to improve effectiveness;
Assist with the completion of risk assessments for maintenance activities and support the development of safe work procedures;
Perform, Lead, Coach and Train personnel in RCA investigation.


Qualifications

What we look for:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Technical Diploma;
5 years' open pit mine maintenance experience;
Expertise in data analysis;
Experience with equipment reliability programs;
Exposure to project management techniques;
Exposure to equipment condition monitoring;
Strong analytical and communication skills;
Experience in a cross cultural work environment is an asset;
Experience with Oracle or similar CMMS is an asset;
Experience with Excel or Projects is preferred;
Must have strong analytical skills.
