MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT EXPLORATION - West Africa - FIFO role

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced, motivated and professional Maintenance Superintendent Exploration for an African FIFO role. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be working to provide on ground leadership to maintenance crew and ensure optimal availability of drill fleet.

Role requirements:

• High focus on preventive maintenance
• Assist with monitoring inventory of all plant, parts and equipment and copy a list to the regional offices on a weekly base.
• Ensure OSH practices are applied.
• Progressively strive to develop skill levels pertaining to safety management practices and protocols.
• Provide on the job training and willingness to pass on knowledge to a developing national workforce.
• Ability to manage several sites remotely.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures.
• As part of Maintenance Management Team provide input related to operating budgets and other Budgeting exercises.

Experience:

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Drilling/Mining industry
• Diploma in relevant field (desirable)
• Good trouble shooting skills
• Strong people management skills & ability to interact with diverse cultures
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Demonstrated technical Knowledge on a wide range of Exploration Drill rigs
• Demonstrated technical Knowledge on Sullair Compressors & Atlas Boosters

Based on 8- & 4-weeks FIFO. Located West Africa region. A competitive remuneration package will be offered to prospective candidates for this position.
