Marine Master | South East Africa | $11,000 per month Gross | 6 Month Contract

A world class mining company is currently seeking an Unlimited Licensed Marine Master for a six month contract.
The position will offer a 6 weeks on/ 2 weeks off roster.
The monthly salary will be set to $11,000 per month Gross.

Unlimited License Marine Master: The Role
· Ensure compliance with the company's safety and environment policy, which includes motivating the crew for its implementation;

· Take responsibility for the ship at all times, i.e. safety, efficiency, maintenance, vessel integrity and supply management on board;

· Ensure that the ship complies with the rules and regulations of the Classification Society of the Regulations of the Local Authority;

· Ensure that the ship is in seaworthy condition at all times, including safety equipment;

· Coordinate training on board and motivate the crew;

· Ensure the efficient and effective use of material resources including maintenance, security and room service;

· Maintain discipline, order, cleanliness, hygiene and adequate living conditions throughout the ship, including the implementation of the 5S principles;

· Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods;
