Overview of the role:
Experienced and confident individual with mining industry experience who will research skills, build pipelines and support recruitment team.
Responsibilities:
* Research duties using social media, job boards, references, referrals and all other research tools available.
* Workforce planning through liaising with team members and building relationships with key managers.
* Responsible for building and maintaining talent pools, pipelines and databases using File Finder CRM.
* Creative and innovative thinking to design and implement an effective search and attraction methodology.
* Responsible for assisting with recruitment campaigns and career fairs.
* Communicate effectively with recruitment team on an ongoing basis.
* Able to effectively use and maintain the current Page Up recruitment tool as a super user.
* Ongoing research with a focus on First Quantum Minerals' longer-term sourcing activities.
* Headhunting and recruitment (recruitment support to the recruitment Specialists) responsibilities including but not limited to advertising, searching, screening, telephone screening and reference checking.
* Responsible for roll out of Page Up recruitment system at various sites and the management of communication from the support email account.
* Responsible for training all system users on various mine sites and business units.
* Responsible for building and pulling recruitment reports for First Quantum.
* Responsible for Job Board management, negotiating rates and contracts.
* Responsible for the management and contributions as required for Social Media including but not limited to LinkedIn and Facebook.
* Arranging travel, police clearances, liaising with embassies and consulates as and when required.
* Interviewing & selection skills.
* Ad hock duties.
Qualifications:
* Human Resource qualification or suitable experience
* Relevant courses
* Graduate or equivalent level
Experience:
* Excellent social media skills
* Computer literacy, MS office, internet, email
* Experience within a corporate or agency environment
* Proven track record of identifying and managing suitable skills
