Data Analyst, ESG

Purpose of the role:

To ensure the seamless collection and collation of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data in the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collection, collation and analysis of ESG data for FQM. This includes, but is not limited to data from all of our operating sites, closed properties, exploration sites, projects and supporting offices.
* Provide regular internal reports on the ESG data in accordance with international disclosure trends and standards.
* Ensure appropriate quality control of ESG data.
* Maintenance of the existing data collection tools and software. Provide basic training and support to internal users and stakeholders.
* Stay up to date with ESG data collection and international disclosure trends and standards applicable to the mining industry.
* Ongoing liaison with independent data reporting organisations and analysts, as well as various internal stakeholders, including group finance reporting.
* Completion and submission of annual corporate environmental disclosures on a range of platforms including, but not limited to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Climate, CDP Water, CDP Forests, Sustainalytics, MSCI and SAM.

Qualifications Required:

* A degree or diploma in an environmental or data science related field

Experience & Skills Required:

* High level of competency in data analysis
* Advanced Excel skills
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental, social or governance data analysis / reporting

Other Requirements:

* Travelling to remote sites as per the business requirements
